It seems that in the past, people who had made a reservation had cancelled without notice. Since this is a ride-sharing program, other students and faculty riding with us depend on you to create groups which will help make their transportation more affordable. If your rideshare from BTV to Montpelier did not arrive or their flight is delayed for some reason , we have no control over this. You will need to join the group that is already there, or wait for the next group. Just pay the indicated price for your service. We have been serving Vermont College (www.tui.edu) for over seven years. We have proper internet reservation forms hand-designed for school and college transportation. You can find these forms here: www.everywheretaxi.com/contactus > If you made a reservation to be picked up from VC and returned to the airport after your program...we ask that you DO NOT CANCEL. The rideshare program depends on people willing to share a ride. You may be leaving someone behind to pay full fare if you have cancelled. > If you have made a reservation with a service other than Everywhere Taxi of Vermont, please remember that we are known by the staff at Vermont College. There is a difference between a taxi service that can just get you from BTV to Montpelier and a service that will provide you with transportation to (TUI) Dewey Hall, Noble Hall, Bishop Hall, College Hall, etc. Everywhere Taxi can do all of these. We know a lot of the students and recognize most of the faculty immediately. We also do our very best to provide the students with group rides to the college. The rideshare is priced as follows: 2 people: $38 each (cash-preferred rideshare) 3 people: $25 each (cash only rideshare) 4 people: $18.75 each (cash only rideshare) = Single passenger/private car: $75 Passenger group limit: 5 to vehicle |
| We don't work by a "shuttle rate". WHY ARE SHUTTLE RATES NOT A GOOD IDEA? Did you know... Some companies will charge a set rate of up to $35 per person even when there are four passengers in the van. Does it seem fair to you to have to pay $35 per person for four? That would make the price for your ride $140. Who benefits from this? The company who is transporting you for $35 per person for four people. Our rates are designed to benefit our customers. They are designed to be fair to YOU...the way it should be. Explained a different way - |

HOW IS EVERYWHERE TAXI OF VERMONT'S RIDE SHARE
DIFFERENT THAN ANOTHER SERVICE? Notice how Everywhere Taxi of Vermont's prices get lower as the number in the group increases. Some services will charge $35 per person for a party of four. Doesn't seem right - or fair. IMPORTANT: ABOUT THE RETURN GROUP RIDESHARE - You have been assigned a time for your departure from Vermont College. We will request proof of reservation confirmation if our van (s) arrive and you are not on the list of people to be picked up. Make sure that you have your departure date and time in writing. Choosing to leave on a different van than the one you have been scheduled for is not an option. For instance, if you were assigned to leave at 2 pm but wanted to leave on a van arriving at noon, that would cause problems for the group.. |
